Faith Got Us Here

During our last Building Program, a Casa View couple gave a thousand dollars to jump start the Fund Raising Campaign. I started thinking, “God, I want to do that too!” I didn’t exactly have a thousand unattached dollars, but God was listening. Completely un-expected, I received a check in the mail for over-paid property taxes for three hundred plus dollars, the following week I received another check in the mail for over-paid school taxes for three hundred plus dollars, now my goal was attainable. If God was willing to provide 2/3 of the amount I could surely budget my spending and come up with the remaining 1/3. Remember, these taxes were paid initially by my mortgage company but I was receiving the refund. Coincidence you say, where God is concerned I don’t believe in coincidences. “You can’t out give God,” the more I give the more I receive, I find myself double checking the calculator, I write out checks and still have funds left over more than I should. Our God is so amazing, His plan is greater in “all ways” than our own, and we simply have to Trust Him and follow Him by Faith. Faith got us here!
